An 11-year-old boy from South Carolina has been reunited with his family after he ran away from home to live with a man he met on Snapchat. The unidentified boy took his brother's car and began a 200-mile trek from Simpsonville to Charleston.
After nearly three hours behind the wheel, his tablet lost its GPS signal, and the boy had no idea where he was. When the signal returned, he realized he no longer had the man's address because the Snapchat conversation had been deleted.
The boy happened to notice a police car in a parking lot and pulled over to ask for help. The officer contacted the boy's father, who drove to Charleston to pick up his son.
Investigators are trying to identify and locate the man who lured the young boy away from his family.
