Stanford student Ava Jeffs is with her professor era. The sophomore “Swiftie” is making an English class curriculum about Taylor Swift's songwriting.
The song "The Last Great American Dynasty" from Swift's "Folklore" album served as inspiration for the course "The Last Great American Songwriter: Storytelling with Taylor Swift through the Eras."
This is the second Swift class at Stanford after "All Too Well (Ten Week Version)" was taught earlier this year, with students analyzing the ten-minute version of the song.
Jeffs, who declares herself as a “lyrics person,” used Taylor’s song “Clean” for her Stanford application essay as the song helped her heal from an eating disorder.
Which Taylor Swift song do you think has the best lyrics? If you could take a course on any artist, who would it be?
